It is a good thing to induce others to excercise charity.

To do so is to practice all virtues at once.

Welcome to St. Vincent's homepage

The St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVP) is an international christian voluntary organisation dedicated to tackling poverty and disadvantage by providing practical assistance to anyone in need. Active in England and Wales since 1844, it continues to address social and material need in all its many forms.

Here in the North-west, we also operate a group of high street community based charity shops providing clothing, furniture and bric-a-brac to the public at reasonable prices.

If you think we can help each other, whether you are considering becoming a funder or a volunteer or you would simply like to make a donation of goods or money click the tabs below for more information.
